But as I stated earlier, that didn't work. I thought if I put a USB device into the mix, that anything related to the Broadcom problem would be avoided. I've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. Common denominator is the message, "Wireless disabled by hardware switch." Lots of wild goose chases to fix the problem. Lots of people and threads complaining they lost their wireless and can't get it back, and it seems especially bad with Broadcom chipsets.
